What if We Leave?
What will happen if we leave Iraq before the job is done. Who will suffer? What will the future look like? How will your life change? Do you really want to know?
Let’s say that the Democrats win the Presidency in November 2008 and follow through with their threats for an immediate pullout by, say February, 2009. Within six months Iran invades Iraq. Al Quida joins with Iran and begins an invasion of Egypt then Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and all the other oil rich countries. Iran follows through with its nuclear threat and launches a nuclear missile on Israel. Our enemy now has full control of the lifeblood of the world. Germany, France, Russia, Brittan and all of the other European countries rely almost entirely on Middle Eastern oil and will collapse within six months, tops. Only about ten percent of the US oil supply comes from the Middle East, but don’t for a second believe we will not be affected! Complaining about $3.00 a gallon gas now? How about no gas!
What Did We Do?
Now that the November 2006 elections are over we must look back and observe the results of our own decisions on that day. For weeks before the elections, all I heard was “punish the Republicans!” or “I just won’t vote!”
Overwhelming statistics show that the vast majority of the voting public is either conservative or moderate Christians. From this I can only deduce that most of these voters did exactly what they threatened… either they stayed home or they voted Democrat just to punish the Republican Party! This reminds me of the parable of cutting off your nose to spite your face! I hope those of you that exercised this God Given right are happy with your decision because we are going to live with it for a long time! As was predicted by conservative talk show hosts across the nation, a Democratic majority has resulted in an endless series of wasteful and time consuming investigations over the most insignificant issues around.
I Hate You!
Hate…as contagious a disease as any social disease around today! Hate… as addictive a disease as any narcotic! Why do we hate? Why is our hatred so absolute? What can we do to combat hate? Since I have only my years of wisdom and life experiences to answer these questions, not all may agree with me. For this I apologize.
Every man, woman and child lives with good and evil battling within them. We nurture our children to understand the difference between good and evil and how to defeat evil with good. As adults we seem not to practice what we preach to our children. Stresses in our adult life and the ever growing influence of evil in our society sometimes stretch us to the limit. Some of us are stronger than others, but we all face evil to its extremes. There are others that embrace evil and all the hatred it breeds. For these in our society there is no turning back. To them evil is good. My article today focuses on this segment of our society.
Global Warming
Every where I go, every news station I watch, every television program or movie I watch, even the educational channels preach nothing but despair and helplessness at the plight of the world today. The government is corrupt. Everyone is starving to death. There are so many homeless people. Global warming is destroying the world. And we are the culprits! Humanity is destroying itself!
If I were to believe just half of what I read or watch, I wouldn’t even want to get out of bed in the morning. I would just as soon put a gun to my head! I would not be able to live with the guilt of my sins to humanity!
This is what the liberals in congress want you to believe. All the troubles of the world are caused by you. Don’t you feel even a little guilty? If you don’t, then don’t worry, neither do I.
